I hear if you make friends
with Jesus Christ
you will get right up
from that chalk outline
and then you'll get dolled up
and you'll dress in white
all to take your place
in His chorus line
And then in you'll come
with those marching drums
in a saintly compromise
no more whiskey slurs
no more blonde haired girls
for your whole eternal life
and you'll do the dance
that was choreographed
at the very dawn of time
singing, I told you son
the day would come
you would die, you'll die, you'll die, you'll die

Flannigan, William Finley, Joost Scholte, Rose McGowan, Laura Kightlinger, Angus MacInnes, Fiona Shaw, Victor McGuire, Steven Koller (II), Kevin Dunn see related | A couple of hours ago I watched that Home Makeover show, the one where they plow through an entire home and then rebuild and revamp it on the same spot. Let me just say: "IT HIT ME!" I cried for almost a whole hour! It was an episode about a family with many hardships: a couple of legally blind daughters, an old blind gramma who lives with them, a blind husband, a deaf son, and a mom who endures through all these hardships, which BTW, she wouldn't trade if you gave her a million dollars!! Anyway, they built this new home for them complete with all of the coolest, most up-to-date, most efficient technological advancements that a hearing impaired/blind person could EVER want. EVER. What's even more is how the deaf son can communicate with his blind father VIA a computer program.
It was simply a blessing to watch.
It was also a blessing today to see my Brother...I was so happy to see him that I made him a Mixed Cd. Now PRAY tell me...WHO doesn't like a good Mixed CD?

| Trip to Dallas was awesome. Goo's were rockin', so are my photos. Counting Crows 'Round Here made me cry. 'nuf said?
I don't mean to be so courtly abrupt, but it sucks being so busy. School this week was very rough, this little girl (whose name oddly enough is Trinity) was probably the worst child I have ever seen. Today, along with acting better, Trinity gives me a hug and a kiss. She tells me that she loves me. Just when you think that you can't do enough, love kicks in.
It is so funny how love works. It's up. It's down. It's in between. It's forgotten. And it's pushed aside for anger. I get angry at work sometimes. I constantly have 20 3-6 year olds running around, tugging at my skirts, calling "Ms. Jessica", and running around the classroom. I have to be the champion for these kids. I have to keep them off of the teacher so that she can give lessons individually. That means that 80% of the time I am chasing after 19 kids telling them that they need to "find or choose some work", they need to "go back to their work", they need to "stop running around", they need to "work independently and alone", etc. I say all of these sentences at least 30 times a day. Guess how many times it works? Not many. But this is my job; I am the assistant. Rather, as I said before, I am the champion of the classroom. I discipline the kids, I am constantly on them, I take care of them when they are hurt, I help them change their clothes if they pee in and/or soil in them, I shush them CONSTANTLY. And for just a moment like Trinity gave me today, it is all worth it. She loves me because she knows that I love her, that I will take care of her, and that I will tell her what she needs to be doing in order for her to be a "big girl". It is t h i s rewarding.
It's all about action and inaction. I am learning new things every day. I think that daily patience and love are renewing the Faith that I put on the backburner. I think that what once was cooling off, is now heating up.
time for the final bout. rows of deserted houses:
all our stable mates are highway bound.
give us our measly sum:
getting the air inside my lungs is heavenly.
we're starting out with nothing but crippling doubt.
we'll rest easy (justified).
i've suffered a swift defeat, i'll endure countless repeats.
the gift of memory is an awful curse.
with age it just gets much worse, but i won't mind.
